This policy explains how Glory & Associates, Auditors and Management Ltd ("Glory & Associates", "we", "us") collects and uses personal data through this website and the Student Library. We handle personal data in line with applicable data protection law, including the Data Protection Act, 2019 of Kenya.
What we collect
- Website enquiries: your name, organisation, email, phone number, preferred date and message when you use the contact form.
- Newsletter: your email address if you subscribe.
- Student Library: the student name and email linked to an access code, the expiry date of the code, sign-in times, the device and browser type, IP address, and test attempts and scores.
How we use it
- To reply to enquiries and provide the services you ask about.
- To issue and manage Student Library access, limit sharing of codes, keep the library secure and show you your own progress.
- To send the newsletter, which you can stop at any time.
- To meet legal and professional obligations.
We do not sell personal data.
Cookies
The website may use cookies to remember your choice on the cookie notice. The Student Library uses a session cookie that is essential for signing in and security. It is deleted when you close your browser or sign out.
Sharing and storage
We share data only with service providers who help us run the website and email (for example our hosting company) and where the law requires. Data is stored on our hosting provider's servers. Library records are kept while your access is active and for a reasonable period afterwards.
Security
Access codes are stored in hashed form, library files are kept outside public access, and sign-in attempts are rate limited. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your access code private.
Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or object to certain uses, by contacting us. You may also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner if you believe your data is mishandled.
